Alberto Cienega

Alberto N. Cienega Sr., 90, passed away May 9, 2018 in Weatherford. He was born August 5, 1927 in Sweetwater the son of Canuto and Elizabeth Navarro Cienega. He was a longtime resident of Mineral Wells and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was a hard working man all of his life until he retired. The Mass will be 10 AM Monday, May 14, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Rosary is 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home. He is survived by his children: Alberto Cienega Jr., Delia Ortega, Daniel Cienega, Jesus Cienega, and Martha Cienega, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, sister: Maria De Jesus Selden, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Amelia Cienega on February 24, 2014, son: Antonio Cienega, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
