Angie Estelle Sitton

Angie Estelle Sitton, age 98, of Perrin, Texas passed away June 25, 2026. She left this life peacefully into the arms of Jesus with her loving and devoted daughters by her side.

Angie was born August 29, 1927 to Andrew Jefferson and Jimmie Alice Francis Webb in Price Chapel Community near Oran, Texas. She was born at home in the very place that she would later start her own family and “home place” for the next nearly 100 years. So many generations of love, family, faith and countless memories on the farm.

 She graduated from Perrin High School in 1945. She married L.B. “Jack” Sitton, October 30, 1948 and they were by each other’s side for 63 years. They share two daughters, Jacquie Karen Johnson and Vicki Lynn Sitton.

Angie dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a devoted wife, and nurtured her children and grandchildren with unwavering love and guidance. She was known for her kindness, wisdom, and generosity, touching the lives of all who knew her. The “ Love Thy Neighbor Club “ was dear to Angie. She and ladies of the community were the hands and feet of Jesus offering love through acts of service.

She is survived by her daughters: Jacquie Karen and Vicki Lynn; her grandchildren: Kevin (Kellie) Johnson, Amanda (Mike) Lockwood, Neil Johnson, Scott Johnson and Jennifer (David Weller) Short; great grandchildren: Jacob, Samuel, Abigail, Austin, Madison, Liam, Laci and Michael; also numerous nieces and nephews, their loving families and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Jimmie Webb, husband Jack Sitton, siblings: Johnie Webb, Beatrice Hutton, Pauline Jones, Loren Webb and grandson Mark Johnson.The family would like to extend special appreciation to Jeannie McMinn, Gentiva Hospice, and Mineral Wells Nursing and Rehab for their loving care.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, Texas. Celebration of life will be on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel in Mineral Wells, Texas.

Graveside Service will follow at Perrin Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Perrin, Texas.
