Ann Edwards

Ann Edwards, 83, passed away April 26, 2020 at her home in Santo. She was born January 11, 1937 in Sinton the daughter of T. H. and Hazel Vern Hampton McSpedden. She married Don C. Edwards on September 27, 1962 at Cooper Creek Baptist Church in Denton. She was a longtime resident of Santo and a member of the First Baptist Church of Santo. She worked at Century Flight Systems as a stock clerk for many years. Graveside services will be 10 AM Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Santo North Cemetery. She will be lying in state at the funeral home Wednesday from 9 AM to 9 PM for public viewing. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Brian Alan and Tisha Edwards, daughter and son-in-law: Stacy Lynn and Bennie Mata, grandchildren: Preston Mata, Keaton Mata, Justin Edwards, Jordan Edwards, Cameron Edwards, and Laura Lockwood, great-grandchild: Emry Mata, and sister: Lynette Renner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on April 26, 2005, 8 brothers and sisters, and great-granddaughter: Codi Edwards.
