Anna Kathryn Nolen

Anna Kathryn Nolen, born August 11, 1947 in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed from this life, surrounded by her family, and was received into the arms of her loving Savior on October 12, 2021. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

On November 9, 1973, Anna married the love of her life, Hayward Nolen, and they began their lives together, working in the ministry for the next 40 years, serving and touching many lives as Youth/Children's Pastors, Associate Pastors and Senior Pastors. 

After being told they would never have children, God, through the faithful prayers of the saints, miraculously and graciously blessed them with two children, Shawn and Renee.

Motherhood, and later, Grandmotherhood, became Anna's number one priority. She was the best of the best. But her talents weren't limited to just that. She was a skilled organist/piano player, singer, an excellent cook, and a top notch decorator--anyone who has ever been to her home would surely agree!

She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Nolen, and her parents, Rev. W.O. and Kathy Harrell. She is succeeded in life by her husband, Rev. Hayward Nolen, daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Toby Hudnell, grandsons Colin and Brendan Hudnell, and brother, Bill Harrell. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 4-6pm at Cityview Community Church 3800 Ram Blvd Mineral Wells Texas. Funeral services will be held the following day at 2pm at the same location, with interment to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
