Anne Elizabeth Farrell

Anne Elizabeth Farrell, born on November 18, 1940, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 4, 2021. After graduating from high school, Anne went to nursing school and joined the U.S. Air Force for 2.5 years then joined the U.S. Army where she served for 17.5 years. Anne served her country proudly during the Vietnam War, taking care of our wounded. She retired from the military as Major Anne Farrell, RN. Anne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; The American Legion; Red Hat Club; and the Mineral Wells Senior Center. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John Farrell Jr. and David Farrell and her parents John Sr. and Helena Seaver Farrell. Anne is survived by her sister-in-law, Jackie Farrell; her nephews, John Farrell III and Joe Farrell; and three great nieces who reside in New York State. She is also survived by special friends, Heide Brumlow and Donna Richard as well as other dear friends and her fur baby, PJ. A Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. with the funeral Mass following. Burial will be in Utica, NY.
