Barbara Carolyn Harper

Barbara C. Harper, 84, of Mineral Wells passed away peacefully in Fort Worth on May 2, 2026. 

Barbara was born in Pittsburgh, Texas. She is the daughter of the late George and Gladys Greer. She served her community by working in the New Mexico State school system, managing apartments, and working in a daycare. 

She is survived by and will be missed by her children Donald Dingler and Gail and her husband Alvin Pitchford; sisters Judy Allen and Tudy Goff along with 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Harper.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel.
