Barbara Ann Upton

Barbara Ann Upton 70 of Mineral Wells passed peacefully at her home to be with her Lord on July 29, 2011. She was born in Mineral Wells the daughter of Sid Jr. and Fannie Perkins Wilkins. Attending school here; She lived in Mineral Wells most of her life, and was a devout Baptist. Her profession as a Respiratory Therapist, allowed her to do what she loved, caring for the sick and needy, when she had time she also helped her late husband James Upton in his construction business. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 75. Barbara will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Survivors are son Sidney Upton; 2 grandchildren, Sharissa and Shannon Upton; 2 great grandchildren, Brynley Upton and Kendra Chavez along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Visitation will be Monday August 1, 2011 from 6-8PM at the funeral home, and the service will be on Tuesday August 2, 2011 at 10AM in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel, burial will follow at Holders Chapel Cemetery.
