Betty Hunter

Betty Hunter passed into her Lord's arms on March 4, 2016. She was born in Brownwood, Texas; the daughter of Thomas Walker Petty and Rosie Renfro Petty. Betty was a lifelong member of the Bethesda Methodist Church. She was married to her loving husband Bob Hunter for 56 years. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2-5 pm at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016, 1pm, at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. She leaves behind children: Sarah Moore and husband Bill of Cool, Texas, Kenneth Hunter and wife Verba of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Lillie Kent and husband Larry of Fort Worth, Texas; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Hunter; parents: Thomas Petty and Rosie Petty; sister: Patty Sue Bolf; brother: Billy Ray Petty; and son: Allen Hunter. A special thanks to the nursing staff of College Park Nursing Center and Rehab and Alpha and Omega Hospice.
