Bobbie Louise Zinn March 17,1929 -October 1, 2015 Visitation at Baum Carlock Bumgardner funeral home from 6-8 pm Sunday. Funeral at Southside Church of Christ Monday October 5, 2015 at 10 am Bobbie Louise Thornton Zinn was born March 17,1929 to Robert Lee (Bob) and Josie 'Israel' Thornton. She graduated from Santo High school. After graduation she married Robert Jack Zinn. She moved to Ft. worth for a short time. She later returned to mineral wells and worked for Texas Packaging for more than 30 years before retiring. Bobbie spent several years caring for her parents as their health failed, and at the same time working long hours at Texas Packaging. After retiring and her parent's death she was a care giver for many other people in the Mineral Wells area. She continued caring for others up until about 3-4 months before her death. She spent her entire life caring for others. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Robert Lynn Zinn, two sisters Marie Walker and Lou Tishie Hise. She is survived by her son, Michael Lea Zinn and wife Debbie. Grandsons, Robert Lynn Zinn Jr., Michael Brandon Zinn and wife Hiedi, and Travis Lee and wife Jennifer. And Five great grandchildren. Brothers Roy Thornton and wife Beth, Frank Thornton and his wife Pat, Garland Thornton, and Troye Lee Thornton and wife Wanda. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
