Brenda Martin

Brenda Martin passed into her Lord's arms on October 24, 2016. She was born in Dallas, Texas; the daughter of Thomas Kane and Louise Turner Kane. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She married her husband Richard on September 11, 1971 in Irving, Texas. She loved playing with her grandkids and shopping. A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 6-8pm at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016, 2pm, at the Community Church of Possum Kingdom. She leaves behind her husband, Richard Martin; children, Erin Dewbre and Wesley Martin and wife Valerie; grandchildren, Hayden Dewbre and Emma Dewbre; mother, Louise Kane; sister, Sherry Johnson; brother, Gerald Kane; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Kane; and sister, Hazel Mae Stacy.
