Carl Word

Carl Word passed into his Lord's arms on July 22, 2016. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; the son of John Word and Patty Foster Word. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Chapel from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Cityview Community Church at 2pm. He leaves behind his wife of 66 years, Vida Word; children: Carla Kay Pierce and husband Glenn and Gary Word and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Toby Hudnell and wife Renee, Amber Snow and husband Chris, Chad Word and wife April, and Scot Pierce and wife Joy; great-grandchildren: Colin Hudnell, Brendan Hudnell, Grant Pierce, Caroline Pierce, Caden Snow, Zoe Snow, Corban Word, and Aowyn Word; sisters: June Pope and Sandra Simms; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Patty Word, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
