Carmen Patterson

Carmen Shirvette Patterson 66 of Portland, Oregon passed away on March 11, 2014 in a Portland hospital. Carmen was born in Mineral Wells; the daughter of Leon and Ernestine (Morris) Cross. Carmen loved spending her spare time in her garden; where she loved to watch her labor blossom. She leaves behind husband Larry Patterson; children: Charles and Latrina Denson; sister: Deborah (Cross) Walker and husband Wendell Walker, Ramona (Cross) Milton and husband Clarence Milton; brothers: Michael, Kenneth, Dexter and Kevin Cross; great aunt: Opal Morris; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Friday March 21 from 6-8PM at the funeral home. The funeral service is Saturday March 22, 2014, 10AM at Hughes Chapel; burial will follow at Pollard Cemetery.
