Catherine Rogers

Catherine Anita Rogers, 68, of Mineral Wells, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2026, passing away in Fort Worth, Texas.

Catherine was born on May 18, 1958, in Mineral Wells to Angela Maria Rogers and Jose Trevino. A strong, responsible, and independent woman, Catherine faced many challenges throughout her life but overcame every single one with grace and resilience. She possessed a beautiful soul and a remarkably big heart. While she was a very private, direct person who often wore a serious face, those who knew her well loved her fun, funny personality and her joy in laughing. She would never ask for help herself, but she was always the first to give or do whatever she could for anyone in need. When Catherine loved, she loved hard.

A dedicated mother, grandmother, and woman of deep faith, Catherine devoted her life to her family and to the Lord. Her greatest passions included spending time with family and friends at gatherings, visiting her favorite restaurant in town, and cheering on her beloved Dallas Cowboys every football season. Above all, she cherished watching her granddaughters participate in their school activities.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Annie Labrum and Andrea Reyes; and her brothers, Daniel Rogers and Christopher Rogers.

She is survived by her children, Anita Rogers and partner Ana Lara of Arlington, Julian Quesada of Mineral Wells, and Juanita Chavira and husband Diego Chavira of Mineral Wells; her cherished granddaughters, Cadence Quesada and Peyton Quesada; her siblings, Dora Hyson of California, Ciprano Rogers of Azle, David Rogers of Arizona, and Andrew Rogers, Ruth Rogers, and Jose Rogers, all of Mineral Wells; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Rosary and viewing will be held at 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Baum Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral Wells. Burial will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery where Catherine will be laid to rest with her brother, Christopher Rogers.
