Cecle Modenia Patterson

Modenia Goree Patterson passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025 in Fort Worth. She was born in Gordon, Texas on March 22, 1935. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School.

Modenia is survived by son David Goree and wife Jerri, daughter Brenda Callahan and husband Byron; grandchildren Jason Goree and wife, Amy Taylor and husband Matt, Kyndel Peacock, a Byron Jr. and fiance Ariel and Sara Callahan and six great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held Thursday, July 10, at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow immediately at Palo Pinto Cemetery.
