Celso Hernandez

Celso Hernandez, 77, passed away at home on January 25, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with lung cancer.  Celso was born April 6, 1946 in Rancho Bareal, Mexico. He was the son of Ramiro Hernandez and Julia Villarreal.

Celso loved to spend his free time going to the Corner Store and buying his scratch of tickets.

Celso loved his family and married the love of his life, Elizabeth Hernandez on April 5, 1970. He had three wonderful children.

Celso is survived by his wife Elizabeth; his children, Eva Duran and Julian Hernandez; granddaughters, Evangelina Ruiz and Ruby Medina. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Ramiro Hernandez, Xavian Ramirez, Dominic Ramirez, Serenity Hernadez, Mila Ruiz and Jairus Ruiz.

Celso is preceded in death by his parents and his youngest son Ramiro Hernandez.

The Rosary will be held in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Chapel at 6:30pm on January 26, 2024. The funeral mass will be at 10:00am on January 27, 2024 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Chapel with internment at Memory Gardens of the Valley.
