Charles Henry Clary

Charles Henry Clary beloved husband, brother, papa, and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior December 15, 2023. Charles was born in Lipan, Texas on January 22, 1933 to Doc and Flossie (White) Clary. He was the 2nd oldest of 10 children. Charles made his home in Millsap with his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia.

Charles left school in the 11th grade to go to work and help support his family when his father was injured and unable to work. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He owned and operated Clary Roofing for over 50 years. Charles was an avid trader of horses and all things. He was a true cowboy and was known as the Marlboro Man.

Charles was a member of the Weatherford Masonic Lodge, and he served as an Elder at the Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church during his 15-year membership.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary Francis Deel, Sharon Toby, Patsy Clary; brothers, Jimmy Mac Clary and Eddie Joe Clary; and by his son, Terry Bruce Clary.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; daughter, Kimberly and husband Jason; daughter-in-law, Cindy Clary; son, Bobby Mark Clary and wife Tamara; brothers, Bobby Clary and Jerry Clary; sisters, Judy Clary Roemer and Carol Clary; grandchildren, J Ray Ramsey, Brandon Clary, TJ Clary, Tanisha Clary, Chase Clary, Blake Woodruff, Morgan Carter, and Thomas Carter. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church with interment following at Fairview Cemetery.
