Charles Smith

Charles V Smith, 80, passed away August 7, 2018 in a Fort Worth Hospital. He was born October 30, 1937 in Fairmont, West Virginia the son of Albert and Martha Vincent Smith. He married Evelyn Stem on April 8, 1960 in Mineral Wells. He was a Retired US Army Veteran having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He also retired from Upham Oil & Gas after 28 years. He was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. Services will be 2 PM Monday, August 13, 2018 at Southside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery with full Military Honors. Visitation is 2-4 PM Sunday in the funeral home annex. He is survived by his wife: Evelyn Smith, children: Charles Smith Jr., Sharon Carnley, and Donna Smith, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and his 17year old poodle Boo.
