Cheryl Ann Dalton

Our precious Cheryl Ann Dalton,49, gained her wings on May 22, 2024 after a hard fight with cancer. She passed peacefully, at home, in the arms of her sister.

Cheryl was diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age and then autism. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School where she was one of founding members of Hale Center Salsa with Barbara Cranfield, her special ed teacher throughout her life. Cheryl was a big fan of The Wizard of Oz; she had the movie on repeat her entire life. It really brightened her day to watch it. She loved her teddy bear, ice water, going on walks with her sister, but mostly she loved her mama and being with family.

Cheryl is survived by her sisters, Shonda Rowland and Leanna Dalton; her aunts, Linda Calvin and Tammy Dalton; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great niece, Lilliana Joyner and her sister by love Linda Atkinson. She had family waiting in heaven for her including her mother, Debra Dalton who passed 8 months ago; her father, Brad Dalton; her stepfather, Jimmy Sheehan; her grandparents, Leroy Walker, and Anna Jordan, AD “Blackie” Dalton and Monta Joe Dalton just to name a few.

Graveside services will be Saturday June 8th 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Bosley Cemetery in Santo, Texas, if you would like to come say goodbye to our precious sister. She was always our sweet angel on this earth. Our hearts will be incomplete without her beautiful light.
