Clara Jo Pound

Clara Jo Pound was called to our Lord after a long illness on Thursday, April 23, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Brownwood, Tx, the daughter of Josephine Gonzales and Joe Gonzales. Clara was adopted by her paternal grandparents, Fidencio and Susie Ornelas Gonzales. She lived most of her life in Mineral Wells.

Clara is survived by daughters, Sandra Orona, Aloise Cole and husband Paul, Amanda Ennis; brothers, Larry, Samuel and Vincent Gonzales; sister Wilma Gonzales; grandchildren, Nina, Ricky, Cheyenne, Jammie, Mary Allison, Joseph Paul, Brittney, Bridget, Breann and Brandy; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brothers, Joe Gonzales, Jr. and Eddie Gonzales; and a sister, Dora Gonzales Chavez.

Viewing will be Sunday, April 26^th at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, April 27^th at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Family and friends are welcome, using social distancing.
