Connie Lucille Springer

Connie Lucille Springer, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away March 26, 2022 at her home. She was born October 31, 1947 in Breckenridge, Tx to John and Doris Draper Holt. Connie retired from Safeway.

Grandma Connie was the grandmother who always made sure cookies were filled to the top of her cookie jar. The Grandmother who gave you the mixing bowl and spoon with left over cake batter so it could just be smeared on her floors later. She was a tough woman and always had a laugh to share. Even if she was laughing to keep herself from saying how she really felt in that moment. She had a heart for rescuing dogs from the animal shelter and nobody could tell her she wasn't bringing them home. She was an amazing woman with an old soul and a heart of gold. 

Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Springer; children, Terry Hare and wife Ann, David Morgan and wife Misty, Keith Foster, Darrell Foster, Russell Foster, and Shane Foster; daughter-in-law, Sonia Hare; 20 grandchildren; brother, Sydney Holt; sisters, Cherel Mandelke and Garla Moss; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her son, Robert Hare and parents, June and Doris Holt.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Northside Baptist Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior at 10 a.m.
