Corine Baker-Anders

Corine was born the youngest of eleven children to Leroy and Doris Baker in Mineral Wells, TX. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School. She had a passion for crocheting, knitting, cooking, and most of all, ministry. In 1982 Corine accepted the Lord as her Saviour at a tent revival at the young age of 15. She was appointed to various assignments throughout her life’s work and was ordained as an Evangelist under the leadership of her father in ministry the late Elder Leroy Baker. In 1996 she married her love, Henry Jess Anders III and they raised two sons, Edward Zachery and Henry Jess. They would later move to Fort Worth, TX where she was the Founder and Director of LifeLine Outreach & Community Resources, an organization dedicated to serving underprivileged and economically disadvantaged families through various support programs. She also founded Fit4TheKingdom, which focused on health, wellness, and achieving work-life balance. Corine served in various capacities throughout her professional life. Most recently, she held the position of Event Staff Administrator at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

Worship

Corine was a faithful member of Higher Praise Family Church in Fort Worth, TX under the leadership of Pastor Patrick & Lady Charlotte McGrew since 2010. She was active in the church serving as the Pastor’s Assistant and Ministry Administrator. She participated in the women’s small group bible studies, a member of the Kingdom praise worship team and loved working within the outreach ministry

Family

Corine loved family. She dearly loved her children and especially their grandchildren Edward Zachery Jr. affectionately called “Bug” and Easton Zachery whom she called “Scooter”. She enjoyed cooking their favorite meals and crocheting a toy or soft warmblanket.

Death

Corine was called from labor to rest on May 12, 2025. She will be greatly missed by her husband Henry of almost 29 years. Her children Edward Zachery and Henry Jess IIII. Her grandchildren Edward Zachery Jr. and Easton Zachery. Her siblings Leroy Baker, Shirley Jackson, Roy Baker, Sr (Veronica), Carrie Baker, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Leroy & Doris Baker, sisters Clara Simmons, Rosie Baker and Doris Jones, and a brother Robert Jackson
