Cynthia Ray Smith was born in Roanoke, TX on December 8, 1957 to Ethel Whatley Middleton and Wilburn “RED” Middleton. Cindy passed away at her home, surrounded by her family on October 16, 2022. She grew up in Perrin, TX but has been a beloved resident of Graford with her husband and children for 38 years.

As an employee of the local Dollar General Cindy acted as a mother, grandmother, friend, a counselor and much much more to many Graford residents. She was always dependable.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 45 years, Allen Smith; Daughter, Sammi Herrington and husband Phil, granddaughter Nicole, grandson Joseph and wife Alyssa, great granddaughter Eleanor, great grandson Wyatt James, grandson Spencer, great grandsons James and Andrew Lane; Daughter Rikki Kirkland and husband Brian, grandsons, Ethan, Ryan, Cade, granddaughter Paige; Daughter Randi Burton and husband Rodney, grandson Jayden, Bryce and Gideon; and Daughters Charlee Smith and Jessi Smith. Cindy also leaves behind three sisters Carol McWilliams, Phyllis Middleton, and Susie and her husband Paul Orth.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad. She was loved by all that knew her.

A memorial service will be held at the Main Street Venue (Old Marrow Bldg), 204 N. Main St, Graford, Tx 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2022.
