Danny Lee Ford

In loving memory of Danny Lee Ford, who peacefully departed this world on June 20, 2026, at the age of 72, surrounded by the love of his cherished family. Born on March 7, 1954, in Limestone, Maine, Danny was a beacon of warmth and kindness, whose life was a testament to love, resilience, and a relentless passion for creativity.

Danny was welcomed into this world by his loving parents, Clyde Leon Ford and Ladona Ellen Brown. He was the younger brother to Timmy and Wayne Ford, both of whom preceded him in passing, along with his beloved parents. Despite these losses, Danny's spirit remained unbroken, and his heart always open leaving behind two wonderful sisters, Marilyn Pruitt and Jeanie Kass which he loved so very much.

Danny's life was a mosaic of interests that brought joy to him and those around him. A true craftsman at heart, he found delight in computer building and woodworking, where his meticulous eye and creative mind breathed life into countless projects. Music, however, was his true sanctuary. Whether it was playing an instrument, listening to a treasured record, music was the thread that wove through the fabric of his life, offering solace and joy in equal measure.

Family was the cornerstone of Danny's existence, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will be carried forward by his cherished children: Heather Ford and her daughters Alek Griffin and Everleigh Ford; Toni Lewallen, her husband Jimbo, and daughters Madison and Amya Davila, Arienne Lewallen, Carly Mack; and Tonya Roberson, along with her sons Sean Roberson and daughter Courtlyn Rayne Roberson, Chance Cannon and daughter Faith Glenn. He is also survived by his daughter Elizabeth Walker, her husband Matt, and their children, Ravi and Eisley. Danny's proudest title was that of "Grandpa or Peepaw" and his ten grandchildren were the light of his life, each one holding a special place in his heart.

Danny's life was enriched by a wide circle of family and friends, each one touched by his generous spirit and infectious laughter. Among them was his childhood best friend, Randy Hise, whose companionship through the years was a testament to the enduring power of friendship and his first love for eleven years, Elisabeth Darlene Marsh.

A man deeply loved, and a soul now at peace. His legacy is one of creativity, compassion, and unwavering love for family and friends. He taught us that life is a precious gift, to be embraced with open arms and a joyful heart.

A memorial service will be held at a later time to honor Danny's life, where stories will be shared, laughter will echo, and music will play—a fitting tribute to a man who lived his life with such vibrancy and love. Danny has left an indelible mark on all who knew him, and though his presence will be profoundly missed, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Danny's name to a local music education program, ensuring that his passion for music continues to inspire future generations.
