David Irwin

David Irwin, 71, passed away March 8, 2020 in Mineral Wells. He was born October 11, 1948 in Leeds, Alabama the son of Olli DeWitt and Josie Mae Brasier Irwin. He married Diane Doyle on February 17, 1972 in Mineral Wells. He was a veteran of the US Army. He loved the University of Alabama football team Rolltide. He loved to go out witnessing to people about his Christian Faith and the Romans Road Plan of Salvation since 1987 until he got to sick to do it. He would witness to people right up to the very end in the nursing home. He loved working and his family. Services will be 10 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Millsap. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Diane Irwin, sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffrey and Debbye Irwin, Jason and Shannan Irwin, Jeremy Irwin and Mandi Holt, daughters and son-in-law: Angie and Mark Armstrong, Courtney Irwin, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law: James and Min Irwin, Gary and Susan Irwin, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
