David Lynn Robertson

October 12, 1952 — October 20, 2021

God called upon David Lynn Robertson to come join Him in the high heaven on October 20, 2021. He was born October 12, 1952 in Altus, Oklahoma.

David was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. His family was his world, especially his grandkids. It didn’t matter what it was, he loved doing anything that involved his kids or grandkids; whatever they were doing, he was there. He was just the best grandpa any kid would love to have.

David loved family get togethers, and cooking. He smoked the best briskets, and he knew he did because he would go up to everyone and ask, “Hey how’d you like that brisket?”, with a smirk on his face. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, win or lose he watched till the clock struck 0. Mainly he loved kicking back relaxing, listening to George Jones.

David was a great and peaceful soul and as wholesome as you could get. He lived a long, happy and peaceful life full of love, laughter and joy. He will truly be missed, but never forgotten. He will be loved always and forever.

David is survived by his beautiful and loving wife, Evelyn Robertson; his two beautiful daughters: Monica Lamaster and husband Henry & Wendi Tippie and husband Charles; his nine beautiful grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Debbie Vest and husband Ronnie and Linda Doss and husband Reggie; brother James Robertson and wife Faye. David was preceded in death by his parents; sister, JoAnn Keith and brother, Charles Robertson.

Services will be 10am, Monday, October 25, 2021 at the Mineral Wells Church of God with burial to follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
