David Vernon White

David Vernon White, 63, of Mineral Wells, TX, was born on November 13th, 1959 to Jean Carolyn and Travis White, in Texarkana TX, passed away Friday, April 21st, 2023 due to complications during surgery.

After graduating from Mineral Wells High School, where he met his wife Patricia, David went on to study music at Weatherford College and ministry at Andersonville College. He had a thirty-year career in ministry serving his community wherever the call led.

David married his high-school sweetheart Patricia on October 28th, 1978 and went on to have two children Daniel White and Jessica Bas.

In 2020, David retired from the ministry to focus more on his family, love of music, making friends, and entertaining across the metroplex with his first love the drums.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Carolyn White; father, Travis Vernon White; and grandmother, Grace B. Zirkle.  He is survived and dearly missed by his beloved wife Patricia White; two children, Daniel White, Jessica Bas and husband Matthew Bas; three grandchildren, Marceline Davis, Arlo Bas, and Jayden Bas; along with countless friends and extended family.

Viewing will be 6 -8 pm Thursday, April 27th, 2023. Funeral service will be at 2 pm Friday, April 28th, 2023 at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells, TX. Interment will follow at Woodland Park Cemetery.
