Dealva Michelle Laajaj

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dealva Michelle Laajaj, who left us peacefully on August 13, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on October 20, 1959, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Dealva was a caring nurse and a devoted mother and wife.

Dealva spent her life serving others through her work in the medical field, and her warm spirit and compassion touched the lives of many around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, AL and Jo Betsy (McDonnell) Miller and her sister, Julia Young.

Survivors include her her son Breandon Miller and wife Jordan Moore and their children, Caylee Price, Serenity Miller and Finn Miller; her son, Perry Quackenbush and his wife Britney Howard and their daughter, Violet Quackenbush; her husband, Mohamed Lajaaj; and her brother, Larry Miller. They will cherish her memory and the countless moments they shared.

A celebration of Dealva's life will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel where we invite family and friends to gather and share stories, memories, and the love that she brought into our lives.Dealva will be missed dearly, but her spirit will live on in all who knew her.
