Debra Charisse Harrison

On Monday, May 12, 2025 our Lord peacefully welcomed His

beloved daughter Debra Charisse Harrison (age 71) to join Him

in His fields of paradise. Debra blessed the lives of family, friends,

strangers and acquaintances alike and contributed decades of

service at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where she was

a member of the Catholic Daughters. Through nursing, she

dedicated over 40 years pouring warmth, healing and light into

others. She spent her days selflessly providing encouragement and

strength until gracefully retiring in 2010. Her loving and caring

spirit bestowed devotion to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years Willie Harrison Jr.,

loving sons Sheldon Hawkins (Shelia), Kevin Harrison (Jesse Mae),

Shawn Harrison (Precious), adoring sister, Cathy Boone, step

sister Edwina Gray, 9 grandchildren; Jacob, Raven, Kera, Sheldon

Jr., Kevin Jr., Ayana, Preztynn, Josiah and Leigha, 5 great

grandchildren; Jaxon, Sheldon III, Elijah, Lively, Dominic,

and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Raymond Sr. and

Ethel Showers, siblings Frances Ligons (Freddy) and Raymond

"Butch" Showers Jr.
