Delmer Dwayne Lindley

Delmer Dwayne Lindley passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the age of 85. Born September 12, 1940, in Eliasville, Texas, to Delmer Lindley and Helen McPherson.

Dwayne was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He married Leta Lindley on March 20, 1980, and they made their residence on the Brazos River at Pleasant Valley. His favorite title was Grandpa!

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Leta Lindley; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne and Dodie Lindley, James and Valerie Lindley, Jody and Onya Walker, Kinny and Dee Walker and Gary Burns; daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and Steve Edwards, Donna and Jimmy Bricker, Lynn Walker, Debra Walker; daughters in-law, Jo Beth Walker and Donna Burns; sisters, Shirley Moore and Ruby Holder; 36 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sons Jason Lindley, Jimmy Walker, Leslie Roy Burns and Ronnie Burns; daughter Diane Bridges; daughter in-law Amy Walker; brothers, Virgil Lindley, R. D. Lindley and infant James Lindley; sisters, Wanda Whitehead and Billie Faye Evans. May we all be reunited some day in heaven through the death and resurrection on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held in Mineral Wells, TX, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 2:00 PM at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be before the service at 1:00 PM, in the fellowship hall.
