Donald Mark Hollingsworth

Mark was a living example of a Christian. He unconditionally loved everyone he met, l and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. He was a devoted husband of 35 years, a loving father, and a very proud Grandpa.

Mark enjoyed spending his time going to church, tending to animals, building a home for his family to create memories in, spending time with his children and family, and visits to see grandchildren.

He loved cheering on the Rangers to win the World Series, good western movies, historical documentaries, space travel, and all things John Wayne.

Mark was a hardworking man, took pride in the work he did and never hesitated to share the word of God whenever he had a chance. We know that he was welcomed in the arms of Jesus, on January 15, 2024, forever praising the Lord in heaven.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Annette, their two sons Kenny and Daniel, and daughter Amanda and their families: Kenny and Robin. Daniel and his wife Makayla and their son Harris. His daughter Amanda and husband Forrest and two children Ackley and Acacia Powell and extended family.

Visitation will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Interment will follow at Oran Cemetery.
