Dorothy Welch

Dorothy Jean Marshall Welch, 90, of Mineral Wells passed away May 20, 2019. She was born March 13, 1929 in Palo Pinto to Edward Lafayette and Annie Lorene Crabtree Marshall. Dorothy was a member of First Christian Church and the 50 Year Club which she enjoyed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Welch; parents, Ed and Lorene Marshall; brother, John Thomas Marshall; and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Wilson. Survivors include her children, Laurie Mauldin of Mineral Wells, Johnny and Judy Mauldin of Hudson Oaks, and Jack and Patricia Mauldin, Jr. of Groesbeck; grandchildren and spouses, Clay Brown, Brandi and James Stuart, Bailey and Michael Benningfield, Brandye and Scott Wilson, Annie and Jeff Melasky; 7 great-grandchildren; niece Melissa Marshall and nephew Wally Marshall. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 22 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Palo Pinto Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to give a special thanks to Viola Boydstun for her friendship and loving care.
