Doyle Wayne Maness

Doyle Wayne Maness passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on September 23, 2026. They were sharing in the joys of his homecoming with tears, songs of praise, and laughter.

Doyle was born January 2, 1958 in Vernon, Texas to Junior C and Ethel Mae Maness. He married Cynthia Denise Lewallen on May 31, 1975 and together they raised two sons, Jamie and Jeff.

Doyle had the most generous spirit! You could always count on him if you were in need of help or a laugh. He spent his entire life in pain, and his family is celebrating that he is now walking the streets of gold pain free. The angels probably had to weigh him down because he is so joyful and no longer bound by physical limitations.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Maness; kids, Jeff (Janna) Maness, Amy Maness; grandkids, Amber (Jimmy) Treadwell, Blake (Trystin) Maness, Kylie Maness, Jaylee (Will) Goree, Braden (Lexee) Maness, Jaymie, Kashton, AriAnna, and Wrenleigh Maness; great-grandkids, Cooper, Carter, Camdyn, Kade, Stetson and Adley; father and mother-in-law, Darrell and Della Lewallen; sisters-in-law, Kim (Chuck) Mills and Tina (Johnny) Romines; special friend, Kris Bailey; plus numerous in-laws, out-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends he claimed as family. He was preceded in death by his parents Junior and Mae Maness; son, Jamie Doyle Maness; brothers, Terry Maness and Darrell Maness; and his sister, Tina Durham.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 2 PM, at the Well of Life Church in Mineral Wells.
