Eleanor Louise Fitzgerald, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026 at 80 years old. She was born on June 28, 1945 in Laurens, Iowa to Doris and Ulrich Dubert, and was raised on the beloved family farm with her two younger sisters, Charlotte and Barbara. Eleanor graduated in 1966 from Morningside College, in Sioux City, Iowa with a degree in social work and lived off-and-on in Cedar Rapids, Iowa until she moved to Mineral Wells for good with her oldest daughter, Lisa in 1983. Eleanor welcomed her youngest daughter, Amanda in 1988 in Mineral Wells, where she lived out the remainder of her life. Eleanor is survived by her daughters: Lisa and Amanda, her grandchildren: Sean, Samantha, Simon and Scott and her sisters: Charlotte and Barbara; as well as several nieces and great nephews.
