Elizabeth Ann Huddleston, 72, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends on November 10, 2022.

Elizabeth (Liz) was born on January 3, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas to James (JR) and Viola McNeill.  She married the love of her life, Allen Ray Huddleston, on March 14, 1970.  They lived a great life together for almost 50 years until Allen went to be with Jesus in 2017.

Liz loved spending time with her family and friends.  All her many grandbabies, whether blood or not, were her world.  Her and Allen were Cross Country Truck Driver’s for over 20 years.  They traveled the country together and seen many great things.  Liz then went to work at Palo Pinto Country Jail as a Correctional Officer until she retired.   One of the things she was most proud of was being an Ordained Minister. She served with many ministries and was a Chaplin at the jail.  She loved to show everyone the way to Jesus and she was very good at it.  Liz was part of a Church Praise Dance Team for many years that she loved dearly and made many great friendships, which included her “Twin” Beverly Sanders and her Cindy Lou Who.

Liz was preceded in death by her father, JR McNeill; mother, Viola McGowan; husband, Allen Huddleston; brother, Tobe McNeill; two sons, Troy Huddleston and Timothy Huddleston; great-granddaughter, Neveah Faith Butler; and two of her Praise Dance Team sisters, Becky Brooks and Stephanie Craig.

She has left behind many loved ones including daughter, Angel Butler and husband Leo; son, Eddie Huddleston and wife Brandi; brothers, Jack McNeill and wife Charlene, Garry McNeill and wife Malisia, and Terry McNeill and wife Linda;  grandchildren, Troy Butler and wife Jenny, Brandon Butler and wife Victoria, KC Conway, Timothy Huddleston, Jr, Hollie Huddleston, Andrea Butler, Faith Conway, Tristan Huddleston, Jacob Butler, and Jace Huddleston; great-grandchildren, Cody Sager and children Paisley and Tagen, Willie and Eli Sager, Alexis Butler, Pearce and Atlas Butler, Caelin Huddleston and Gauge Cogburn;  daughters-in-love, Barbie Huddleston and Christy Huddleston; her lifelong friends and family, Pat and Penny Wells, Darla Forman, Heide Milbauer, and Marcia Madsen; and many other family members that she loved so very much.
