On Wednesday July 2nd 2025, the Cross family lost a key member. Elizabeth Cherrie Cross passed in her home in Mineral Wells Texas.

Elizabeth was born September 1st 1979 in Tarrant county Texas to Mary Worrel who had a tragic passing then was adopted by her grandparents Helen Cain and Delbert Cain growing up in Granbury Texas. Elizabeth worked for the school as a bus driver for many years. She loved driving the bus and seeing the kids smile. She also had a love for crafts, traveling around America with her husband, but also being at the house with her pets. Elizabeth had a fondness for helping animals in need including fostering and taking in strays. Her time with her grandchildren were what she loved the most and where her love blossomed.

She married her husband Michael Roy Cross on August, 5th 2017 . They had a love that you only thought existed in movies. From building cars, and traveling, to cooking. They were inseparable.

Elizabeth is proceeded in death by mother Marry Worrel, adopted parents Helen Cain and Delbert Cain, and sister Nola Hastings.

Survivors include her loving husband of eight years Mike Cross. Her three daughters Kimberly Michelle Page Sanders, Devyn Alexandra Cain, and Bethany Ray Sanders. Many grandchildren, aunts and uncles, siblings, and numerous other family and friends.

A viewing will be held at Baum Carlock Funeral Home Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
