Eugene J Goodnough "Joker", 67, born July 31,1953 in Chicago, IL, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 6, 2021.

Jim worked in carpentry for many years and enjoyed doing so. He was very proud of all the houses he assisted in building. In his spare time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. He has always been there for his family and loved telling everyone about his family's accomplishments. Jim was a very proud husband, dad, and papa. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Maynard Goodnough Sr.; brothers Kenneth Maynard Goodnough Jr. and LeRoy Pickett Jr.; sisters, Charolette Mae Davis and Debbie Goodnough; and nephew, Necoe Lee Goodnough.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Elaine Goodnough; mother and step dad, Barbara and George Mason; daughters, Charolette Brogdon and husband Jason Brogdon, Eugenia "Genia" Goodnough and fiance Edward Lotz, Crystal Alvarez, Kristine Alvarez and fiance Gabino Mendez, and Amie Pennington; sisters, Barbara Taylor and husband Wayne Taylor and Judith Jenkins and husband Tony Jenkins; brothers, Frank Pickett and wife Peggy Pickett, Mike Combs and wife Cheryl Combs, Dan Goodnough, George Goodnough, Robert Goodnough, and Neal Goodnough; 12 grandkids; 1 great grandson; several nieces, nephews, and many friends who he looked at as family.

A memorial will be held to honor the life of Jim at 2901 South Hwy 281 in Mineral Wells, TX on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 12pm. Since Jim had such a love for motorcycles and antique cars, the family ask you to join them in giving him his last ride, which will be held the day of the memorial. Bring your motorcycles and antiques and please join the family in remembering the life of such a wonderful man. Jim was an amazing soul who will be missed by all who loved him.
