Evelyn Davis

Evelyn May Davis, 83, passed away September 12, 2010 at her residence in Mineral Wells. She was born March 25, 1927 in Galena Park the daughter of John Curtis and Allie May Lindsey Thrash. She married Gesna Davis Jr. on July 12, 1946 in Galena Park and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2008. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ currently worshiping with Southside Church of Christ. Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Southside Church of Christ with William Eudy officiating. Burial will be 10 AM Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. She is survived by her children and spouses: Donna Dianne and Clifford Burke of Nederland, Gesna III and Pam Davis of Mineral Wells, 6 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
