Frank Orona Jr., 69, passed away March 8, 2020 in Arlington, Texas. He was born November 15, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas the son of Frank Sr. and Elouise Mendez Orona. He married Rose Flores on June 14, 1975 in Mineral Wells. Frank was very involved in his community. He served as a past director of DYBA, and also umpired within the DFW area. He served as a mentor for young men and their athletic journeys as a coach. He worked for Oncor Electric for 37 years retiring in 2014. He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Rose Orona, mother: Elouise Wyndham, children: Sandra Orona, Robbie Bailey and husband Jeremy, Frank Orona III, grandchildren: Adyson, Anystin, Jeremy, Jagger, River, Adalyn, Camren, Nina, Ricky, Cheyenne, and Jammie, several great-grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law: Houston and Sherry Orona, sister: Chita Banda, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, and brother: Henry Orona. The Rosary will be 6:30 PM Thursday in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Mass will be 10 AM Friday, March 13, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Woodland Park Cemetery.
