Gary Olan Beadle

Gary Olan Beadle passed away May 27, 2023 in a Decatur Hospital. He was born July 17, 1940 in Jacksboro, Texas. He grew up in Midland, Odessa, Jacksboro, and many other places as his father was pipeline worker. 

Gary served 22 years in the US Navy retiring as CWO2 in 1979 from the USS Durham, San Diego, CA. He came to Mineral Wells after retirement, and worked at Mepco, PECO, and Antenna Products. Gary married Lucy Irene Allen on November 13, 1984. He was preceded in death by his parents, Author Olan and Mary Jo Denny Beadle; his wife, Lucy in 2005; daughter, Wendy Stevens in 2006; brother, Don; and sister, Jocille. 

Gary is survived by his granddaughter he raised, Samantha Stevens; son, Robert Allen and wife Candy (whom he called his precious daughter-in-law); grandsons, Tyler Allen and wife Brittani, and Hunter Moss and wife Meagan; granddaughters, Jayme Lauren Allen and Taylor Graedel; great-grandchildren, Eulila, Jay Lucas, and Donnie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews....namely Kim Flanagan of Denver Colorado, Becky Harrison and husband David of Graford, TX and Tammy Atkins and husband Tony of Poolville, TX; nephew, Raph (Tiger) Wilson and wife Robin of Mineral Wells; great nieces and nephews that will miss him are too numerous to count. He is also survived by his friend, companion, sister-in-law (he called her his biggest pain) Juanita Reedy. A very special neighbor, Sharon Walden and her family whom he considered family and by a brother who he called Franco. He was well loved. ....
