Gary Robert Hiller

Gary Robert Hiller, 71, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2023, in Mineral Wells, TX. He was born to Robert and Mary Hiller on February 11th, 1952, in Cleveland, OH.

Gary was a hard-working man who was devoted to his work, his co-workers, and his family. He worked for Napa Auto Parts for many years and was well-respected by his colleagues.

Gary is survived by his wife, Peg Hiller; siblings, Tom Hiller, Jim Hiller, Larry Hiller, and Kathy Kovatch; his children, Cailea Armstrong, Matt Ramsey, and Adam Ramsey; and his grandchildren, James Ramsey, Chandler Ramsey, Declan Ramsey, Maddox Ramsey, Jacob Matusewic, and Benjamin Matusewic. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timmy Hiller.

Some of Gary's greatest joys were working on classic cars and spending time outdoors, where he loved to hunt and enjoy nature. He was also a people person who loved to socialize, and his friends held a special place in his heart. However, his most cherished role was that of a grandfather, a role he embraced with enthusiasm, love, and tenderness. His grandchildren held a treasured place in his life, and his bond with them was truly remarkable.

A viewing in honor of Gary's life will be held at the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells on Friday, May 12th, from 6-8 pm, followed by a graveside service at Woodland Park Cemetery at 10 am on Saturday, May 13th.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
