George Turman

George Eugene Turman passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at a local nursing home. He was born May 11, 1943 to Leon and Willie Dyer Turman in Corona, CA. George served in the United States Army. He retired from the US Postal Service after 30 years. George was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Diana Gilbert and her husband Lanny; and brothers, Junior and Billy Turman. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Turman; children, Tracy Hernandez and husband Roy, Bruce Turman, Cheryl Terrell and husband Robert, Laura Salazar and husband Jose; sisters Ella Mae Galivan and husband Richard, and Carol Bohannon; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be 6-8 Friday evening at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22 at Baum-Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home Chapel.
