Gladys Jewel Cowley

Gladys Jewel Cowley, 94, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021. She was born May 15, 1927 in Mineral Wells, Tx. Gladys was the best person and helped everyone. She was an avid reader.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Cowley; son, Mark Cowley; parents, John W. and Stella Meek Nelson; brothers, Wade Nelson and John W. Nelson; and by her sister, June Campbell.

Survivors include her son, Don Cowley; son-in-law, Ramon Conde; grandson, Michael Cowley and wife Ryan; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Friday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Central United Methodist Church with burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
