Glen Taylor

Glen Taylor passed away February 12th in Catoosa, Oklahoma where he resided with his wife June (Shannon) Taylor.  Glen was born to Acel and Juanita Taylor on April 28, 1945 in Mineral Wells Texas.  His brother Kenneth Taylor and wife Sharon reside in Santo Texas.  Glen graduated Santo High School and later got his degree from Tarleton State and a Master degree in business from the University of Chicago.  Glen married June Shannon on October 5 ,1963 in Mineral Wells.  They celebrated their 60th anniversary this last fall.  Glen had 4 daughters, Leah Rosales, Jennifer Bayouth, Cathy Hayden and Katie Redfern. He had 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  He lived the last 37 years in Catoosa, Oklahoma. His career moved him from Texas to Oklahoma City, Des Moines Iowa , Chicago, Illinois and finally Tulsa, Oklahoma.   His final job before retirement was  commuting to General Credit Forms out of St. Louis Missouri for 20 years as their Chief Operating Officer.  Over the years he enjoyed working in his shop on cars, cross country motorcycle rides, traveling with his wife June and time with family.  Graveside services will be held at Landreth Cemetery on March 17th, 2024 at 11 am.
