Goldie Mae Rogers, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and cherished friend, passed away on October 26, 2026, at the age of 95.
Born on May 13, 1931, Goldie Mae Rogers married Johnny “Clint” Rogers in 1953 they had 4 children. Her life was marked by kindness, love, laughter, and an unwaveringly positive outlook. She was a woman with a true heart of gold, whose gentle spirit and easygoing nature made her a joy to be around. No matter what circumstances life brought her way, she had a special ability to find the good, keep a positive attitude, and bring a little light into the lives of those around her.
Goldie Mae had a wonderful sense of humor and a nurturing heart. She possessed the rare gift of making people feel seen, valued, and special. She remembered birthdays and loved giving gifts, not simply for the sake of giving, but because she genuinely enjoyed making others feel loved. Her thoughtfulness was one of the many ways she showed the people in her life just how much they meant to her.
A large part of Goldie Mae’s life was dedicated to caring for children through her in-home daycare. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family, as she opened her home and her heart to the little ones entrusted to her care. Through the years, she helped create a place where children could be loved, cared for, and made to feel safe. The impact of that love reached far beyond childhood, leaving lasting memories for the many families whose lives she touched.
Goldie Mae’s greatest gifts were not measured in things, but in the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the countless ways she made ordinary moments feel special. She reminded those around her that kindness matters, that laughter can brighten even the hardest days, and that a positive outlook can be a light in any circumstance.
Her presence was a blessing, her kindness a gift, and her love a legacy that will continue through the generations of her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Clint Rogers; her sons Joe Rogers and Johnny Clint Rogers Jr.; and her grandson Mark Hennington.

While her passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten. Her laughter will be remembered, her thoughtfulness will continue to inspire, and the love she so freely gave will live on in the lives she touched.
Some people leave behind more than memories; they leave behind a little more love in the world than there was before. Goldie Mae was one of those people. Her heart was gold, her kindness was genuine, her laughter was a gift, and her love will remain with us always.
Rest peacefully, Goldie Mae. You were loved more than words can say, and you will be missed more than words can express.
