Guadalupe Trevino

Guadalupe (Lupe) Ortiz Trevino, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed into the arms of the Lord on September 17, 2026, in Mineral Wells. Born in Bennet, Texas, to Coronado and Soledad Ortiz, Lupe lived a life marked by joy, honesty, and unwavering love. Family was at the heart of everything she did, and she poured her whole spirit into caring for them.

Lupe loved to cook, filling her home with warmth, laughter, and smells of comfort. Known for her honesty, quick wit, and playful discipline, she carried a bold spirit wrapped in sunshine, where not many were safe from leg spankings or cheek pinching. She always welcomed everyone like family, whether they were blood or simply blessed enough to cross her path. To all who knew her, she was a ray of light, warming every room she entered and leaving a lasting impression on every heart and/or stomach that she touched. As the “OG Boy Mom,” she raised her sons with strength, humor, and fierce love that shaped generations.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alejandro Trevino, son Timothy Trevino; daughter Anita Trevino; brothers Mike, Coronado Jr., Steve, Bernardo, and Juan Ortiz; and her sisters Connie Delgado, Josephina Valtierra, and Mercedes Saenz.

She is survived by her sister, Tomasa Gonzalez; her sons Gabriel Trevino (Aida), Gerald Trevino (Marla), Alex Trevino Jr., and Juan Trevino (Jaime); and her grandchildren Anna Trevino, Bryan Trevino, Savannah Franklin, Christina Ramirez, Timothy Trevino, Thalia Trevino - Haughton, and Sabrina Trevino. She also leaves behind numerous great‑grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly and wholeheartedly.

Lupe’s legacy is one of joy, strength, honesty, faith, and fierce love. Her family will carry her light forward, grateful for every moment shared, and her laughter, love, and truth-telling spirit will live on in all of us.
