James Edward "Junior" Cobb, Jr

James Edward Cobb, II, “Junior”, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in Mineral Wells, TX.

Junior was born on July 8, 1957 to James E. and Margaret (Williams) Cobb. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James Cobb, sister, Linda (Cobb) Swift, and a grandson, Tyler.

He married Teresa Posey on April 4, 1975. To this union, 3 children were born; Christi Diane (Cobb) LaRance, James Edward Cobb, III, “Bubba”, and Sandra Teresa Cobb.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He loved his family, all animals and going fishing.

Junior is survived by his wife, Teresa; brother, Steven Cobb; two daughters, Christi LaRance and Sandy Cobb; and his son, James Cobb (wife, Elizabeth). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren: Jillian LaRance, Dylan LaRance and Robert Cobb. He had 1 great grandson, Jensen.

Graveside services will be held at Woodland Park Cemetery in Mineral Wells on Saturday March 8, 2025, 10:00 am.
