Jane Renner Nixon

Jane Renner Nixon, age 76, of Mineral Wells, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born on July 3, 1949, in Wichita, Kansas, Jane was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for nearly five decades. She served her parish faithfully as a member of both the Parish Council and the Altar Society.

On February 1, 1969, Jane married Steve Nixon. Together, they shared 51 years of marriage. Professionally, Jane dedicated 35 years to Perry Equipment Corporation, where she worked as an IT Applications Manager before retiring.

Jane’s greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters: Jennifer Petry and husband Alan of Frisco, TX; Christy Pinkston and husband Jamey of Stephenville, TX; and Michelle Hudson of Fort Worth, TX. She was a proud grandmother to Pierce Petry and wife Amy, Austin Hudson, Jordan Petry, Morgan Pinkston, and Samantha Hudson; and great-grandmother to Benjamin Petry and Jeremy Petry.

She is also survived by her siblings: Gerald Renner of Mineral Wells, TX; William Renner and wife Francesca of Waukesha, WI; Gregory Renner and wife Donna of Haltom City, TX; Carolyn Russell and husband Raymond of Weatherford, TX; and Susan McCallum and husband Von of Amarillo, TX; along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Helen Renner; her brother, Mark Renner; and her husband, Steve Nixon.

A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral Wells, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. The family welcomes all to join them for lunch and fellowship in Pallotti Hall after the service. A private burial will be held for family members.
