Jay Maberry

Jay Maberry, 86, passed away November 23, 2010 in a Mineral Wels hospital. He was born October 31, 1924 the son of James Franklin Sr. and Wilma Etta Maberry. He married Alice Bullard on August 1, 1999 in Mineral Wells. He was a longtime resident of Millsap and was Church of Christ. He was a truck driver for 35 years and was a land developer with Brazos Rock and Development. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel with Pastor Howard Caver officiating. Burial will follow in Poe Prairie Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife: Alice Maberry, daughters: Cherri Burchard and Melinda Goetz, sons: Randy, Stuart, and James Maberry, step-daughters: Misty Gilleo and Angela Mitchell, brothers: Wayne, Marty, and Roy Maberry, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
