Jennifer Jane Riggs Pope

Jennifer Jane (Riggs) Pope, 56, of Mineral Wells, Texas, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior on July 23, 2026. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we rejoice knowing she has been made whole and is forever at peace.

Jennifer was born on June 20, 1970, in Weatherford, Texas, to Becky and Robert Riggs. She graduated from Millsap High School and later attended Weatherford College. Jennifer faithfully served the United States Postal Service for 31 years as a Postmaster, earning the respect of her coworkers, employees, and the community through her dedication, integrity, and servant's heart.

Jennifer's greatest joy was being a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Keith Pope; her daughter, Taylor Edwards and husband, Dylan; her daughter, Kagan Hollifield and husband, Dalton; her son, Ethan Shirley; and her cherished grandchildren, Tristyn, Hudsyn, and Jaxson. She is also survived by her parents, Becky and Robert Riggs; her brothers, Blake, Brian, Brett, Brian Keith, and Robert; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Jennifer's faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. Through every season of life, she held tightly to God's promises, especially Isaiah 41:10:

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Riggs Family Cemetery.
