Jesse Edward Caldwell

Jesse Edward Caldwell passed away September 22, 2022. He was born September 5, 1942 in Inglewood, California to Edward and Hazel Caldwell. He married Judy Northcutt June 2, 1962.

At his request, a private graveside service will be at Perrin Memorial Gardens.

Jesse was a loving and devoted husband and father. He enjoyed country living, family vacations, hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He was also a Little League Baseball and Pee Wee Football Coach, as well as a Boy Scout Leader. After his retirement from Dallas Production, Jesse would spend hours in his shop working on projects that he enjoyed. He volunteered at the Perrin Community Church and the National Vietnam War Museum.

Jesse served in the Marine Corps and was an E-1 Amphibious Tractor Crew Chief performing mine clearance in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy Caldwell; son, Jason Caldwell; grandchildren, Ethan and Kyra Caldwell of Mineral Wells; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Caldwell of Corpus Christi and grandsons and wives Dillon and Kelly Layman of Cypress, TX, Dalton and Meadow Sanders of Orange Grove, TX and Dustin Sanders of Corpus Christi; brother, Jimmie Caldwell of Houston; special niece and nephew, Becky Plumlee and Mike Radford.

He was preceded in death of his son, Jeff Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Vietnam War Museum or Perrin Memorial Gardens.
